ASEP-N is a joint initiative of Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation Ltd (KSWDC), Centre for Management Development (CMD) and Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultants (ODEPC). The main objectives of ASEP-N are to develop essential advanced nursing skills of the graduate/GNM nurses to suit the global standards and to facilitate the participants in seeking a career abroad.

Eligibility Criteria for admission

• Post Graduate/Graduate/GNM registered nurses.
• Age: No bar

Admission

• Batch size – 30 Trainees (90% of the batch capacity shall be reserved for women.)
• An online screening test will be conducted by ODEPC for candidates who opt for English Language Training.
• Preliminary English training of 5 days(10 hours)by REACH to crack English screening test(Fees Rs. 300/-)

Fees

• Registration Fees : Rs. 250/- (To be paid at the time of registration)
• Course Fees:
  • ASEPN incl. English Language Training (ELT) – Rs. 19000/+ (18% GST Rs.3,420/-) Total fees Rs 22,420/-*
  • ASEPN w/o English Language Training (ELT) – Rs. 12000/+(18% GST Rs.2160/-) Total fees Rs 14,160/-*

*Fees for English Language Training (ELT) –Rs. 7000/- will be refunded to those who successfully achieve a UK score in the EL test and travel to the UK through the recruitment process of ODEPC.

Course fees can be paid fully or in two installments

• Rs. 11,800/- at the time of joining English Communication training and
• Rs.10,620/- after 2months,(i.e) before Nursing modules.

If required, the loan is available from KSWDC at a 3.5% interest rate.

Mode of Training

• Training will be conducted Online/Offline.
• Observership – Offline (6weeks /6months)

Duration of course

The course is planned in seven modules with a total duration of 21 weeks with a maximum of 48 hours /week.

Instructions to Candidates

• The candidate should scan his/her passport size photo, age proof and certificate for uploading before filling in the application form online. File size should not exceed 1 MB and should be in pdf /image format.
• Payment of registration fees of Rs. 250/- must be made prior to filling of application form. Candidate must note the Payment Transaction Reference No. and date, for filling in Google form.
• Registration will be treated as complete only if the fee has been transacted successfully, else registration will be cancelled.
• The facility of submission of Online Application form shall be deactivated as per schedule for submission of the application form.

Fees Refund Criteria:

• 80% attendance is compulsory for all categories for the fee refunding process.
• 100% Fees Concession to SC/ST, Transgender/Disabled. A Caution Deposit Rs,10,000/- have to be paid. OR
• Fees for other categories include Rs.19,000+18%GST(KSWDC course fees-12,000/- ODEPC fees- Rs 7,000/-). Course fees (Rs12,000/-)will be refunded fractionally or completely to the candidates after the successful completion of the ASEP-N course(within 18 months). OR
• Eligible candidates for practising observership(6 months) in Medical colleges will be given Rs2000/- as a stipend for 6 months(Total Rs 12,000/-). Candidates who have (6 months) experience in Govt. Hospitals need not do observership. OR
• After completion of ASEP-N course, including observership(within 18 months), if a candidate fails the IELTS/OET exam, 50%(Rs6,000/-) of course fees will be refunded
